Response to Crisis in South Africa from Unrest and riots

Be True 2 Me is committed to supporting the Transgender and gender diverse community in South Africa. This initiative is primarily in response to the community affected by the riots in KZN and parts of Gauteng during the past week.

We are looking at providing care packs to the community in these areas and using partner orgs to distribute and with those on the ground. For safety reasons, we not going to give exact details publicly but very happy to discuss with anyone interested.

We are in need of

• Food vouchers
• Dis-chem/Clicks vouchers (use Points) for toiletries
• Financial donations, bank details here – please mark as relief
• Anything nice for a trans and gender diver person that can a smile on their face.

We have limited transport available to KZN with more options being looked at. We have tight deadlines and bulk items are not as easy to transport for now.

Just to clarify we are looking at options where supply chain is affected in KZN especially.
