Information Sharing

Be True 2 Me offers workshops to the trans community and other interested stakeholders. The most popular is our Trans 101 workshop, which we customize to provide different flavours for different audiences.

In 2020 we will be introducing a new workshop on Preparing for Your Doctors Appointment, aimed at empowering trans individuals who are interacting with medical service providers or entering the health care system.

Additional workshops will be run throughout the year. Follow our Be True 2 Me Community Facebook page for more dates and information. Be True 2 Me Community Facebook Page.

Community

There is life outside and after support groups!

We offer community events and get together where everyone can mingle, network and just be!

Online Support

Be True 2 Me firmly believes in the power of meeting face-to-face, but that is not always possible. We understand that isolation is major issue facing many trans people.

Be True 2 Me therefore offers groups on WhatsApp and Facebook, which allow community members to reach out, share information and chat with each. We also get direct messages and WhatsApp queries daily from members of the trans community, and we try to provide assistance or make appropriate referrals where possible. We may refer you to online groups or to our Website if these will provide you with the relevant information.
